Victorian Mahogany Student’s Desk with Turned Legs and Rolling Castors. Circa 1880. Restored and French polished, this rare piece of Australian history features: 
Solid mahogany construction.
Flip top lid with supporting arm (adjustable height). 
Deep, smooth functioning concealed lower drawer. 
Internal pigeon holes and drawers. 
Original til lock 
Turned legs.
Brass rolling castors.
Very solid and sturdy construction. The original drawer runners are in great condition. Secret drawer below with compartments and small drawers. Lockable top section (no key included). The lower drawer can also be lock by sliding a metal rod or similar (not included) down the through the top section of the desk. Very functional and suitable for everyday use.
