V8052 – Antique Industrial Oregon Kitchen Island Bench. Circa 1900. Restored and raised on its original box-brass castors, this stunning example features.

  • Solid Oregon construction (Ironbark rear shelf)
  • Gorgeous woodgrain figuring.
  • Original industrial brass castors.
  • Solid and sturdy fabrication.
  • Manoeuvrable (stable while in use).
  • Easily accommodates seven or more bar stools
  • Raised rear shelf/bench.
  • Long profile.

Dating around the early 1900s, this incredibly rare hardwood bench has so many applications. Use the back shelf/bench as a kitchen preparation space or to store drinks, cutlery, scented candles while you enjoy your meal. It comfortably accommodates five bar stools at the back and two on either end. Where on earth could you find another one like it? Stripped back, professionally filled, colour matched, then finished with six coats of oil based polyurethane. The bench will not roll when used as a dining table and due to its length and weight requires some force to overcome inertia and start rmoving. Constant pushing and pulling on either end is then required to keep it in motion.

Overall dimensions (mm) 2950W x 605D x 920H (Dining height) or 970 (rear shelf).

Distance from ground to underside of bench =835mm (five stools side) or 900mm on the ends.

Span between each leg (Stool space) = 2285 mm

*Note: Barstools for display purposes only and not included*
