This is a very solid, well made piece from the 1960s. Constructed from solid Tassie Oak (except for the veneer of the oak panel door), it is sturdy enough to support a large TV or home entertainment system. Completely stripped back and finished with three coats of oil based polyurethane. The sliding door functions nice and smoothly. The back panel has been cut away in the top right hand section/shelf of the cabinet – the previous owner used it to run power and cables to his home entertainment system. The oak top, sides and sliding door are free from dents, stains and chips.
