Rare Mid Century Solid Oak Industrial Kitchen Island Bench. Circa 1960. Restored with a hardwearing enamel finish. Solid oak construction. Originally an architect's industrial workbench. Three extra deep dovetail drawers, including a top drawer with dividers and large file drawer. Drop front bottom cupboard perfect for storing pots and pans. The solid oak top was originally protected with thick industrial vinyl and as a result is in exceptional vintage condition. The height of the bench can be adjusted from 912mm (as shown) to 760mm by removing the six factory leg extensions (Each leg extension has a thick steel pin which slips into the middle of each leg). Use as an island bench and breakfast buffet or remove the leg extensions and use it as a large architect's desk. Dimensions (mm) 886D x 912H x 2285W.
