Rare Mid Century Jindrich Halabala Bentwood Easy Chair. Circa 1940. This contemporary designed armchair from the roaring 40s features;

• Solid oak and blackbean frame.

• Original textured upholstery,

• Jindrich’s signature hooped bentwood armrests.

• Spring support to backrest and base seat.

This classic chair is structurally very sound with no signs of movement in the frame (very solid and sturdy). The original springs are in good shape and provide adequate lumber support. Original upholstery in fair condition, free from holes, tears and stains. Slight surface/cosmetic cracking to the left armrest, but this does not impact on the strength of the armrest (see last two images). Dimensions (mm) 630W x 830D.
