A9055-- Victorian Cedar Five Drawer Chest. Restored. Circa 1890. Completely stripped back filled, colour matched, French polished and fitted with all new hardwood drawer runners, this timeless example from the late 1800s boasts.
Solid Red Cedar construction.
Traditional shellac and beeswax finish.
Five seamlessly functioning hand dovetailed drawers.
Original turned handles complete with Cedar screws.
Original brass drawer locks and keyholes/escutcheon inserts.
New hardwood runners to all five drawers.
New replacement turned Cedar legs and base plates (New anti scratch pads installed)

Another very functional set of drawers freshly restored and ready for the next life. All drawers are structurally very sound and have been re-glued, rebuilt and re-nailed where required. All sit straight and flush and open and close perfectly on their new oak runners. Original backboards in perfect order also.
