Traditional shellac finish.
Fanciful head and end boards with foliate and rocaille carvings. 
Cabriole legs with acanthus leaf carvings and whorl feet
Decorative quarter panel, diagonal  patterned walnut veneer.
Serpentine channel side railing
Removable timber slat base. 
Very solid and sturdy construction.
Disassembles in seconds for easy transportation. 
Suits standard queen size mattress (not included). 
Overall, exceptionally well kept condition. Structurally and cosmetically flawless. Freshly French polished. The original walnut veneer is in beautiful condition, free from dents and scratches. Structurally very sound with no movement in the frame – no squeaks or creaks. All carved features are in perfect condition. Very simple and quick to dismantle. The side rails slide and lock into each bed end (no bolts, screws or tools required).
