Freshly restored and hand French-polished, this exceptional antique oak chest is a beautifully preserved example from the early 1900s. Constructed from solid quarter-sawn oak and retaining its original natural patina, it offers generous storage, impressive craftsmanship and remarkably little wear for its age.

Condition and restoration:
This exceptionally well-preserved chest has no pre-existing repairs. The original runners, internal rails and guides remain in outstanding, near-new condition. All five drawers are extremely solid, sit correctly and operate smoothly.
The original dust panels are complete and intact, helping to prevent dust and debris from falling into the drawer cavities below. Externally, the solid oak surfaces—including the plank top, sides and drawer fronts—are in excellent cosmetic condition, with very few imperfections and no significant cracks or dents.
The chest has been carefully restored and freshly French-polished while retaining its original character and natural patina.
