Another well looked after set of drawers all ready for a new home. The original drawers are in great condition with no pre-existing repairs. All sit straight and flush and function seamlessly with their new runners. More than double the amount of hand dovetails usually used to construct the drawers. All drawer bases have been refitted and re-nailed to remove rattles and restore strength (no cracks to drawer bases). The internal drawer rails and thick side guides are in very good condition with minimal signs of wear (also re-nailed and reglued where required). Some new drawer rails installed. The cracks to the side panels have been repaired with high strength compound and inner cedar back boards/panels (glued and screwed). This is a very heavy chest (even with the drawers removed) that will require at least two people to carry it away.
