Solid Australian Cedar construction.
Traditional shellac and beeswax finish.
Seven structurally excellent smooth functioning hand dovetailed drawers
Clean internal drawer surfaces.
Original turned Cedar handles, complete with their original cedar screws.
All original brass drawer locks and keyhole inserts.
Original turned Cedar legs fitted with anti-scratch pads. 
New runners installed to all drawers.
New replacement drawer stops.
Decorative half cottonreel side supports. 
Solid and sturdy fabrication.
Another great example from the Victorian period. The external Cedar surfaces (Plank top, sides and drawer fronts) are in superb cosmetic condition, free from cracks and any significant dents. The drawers have been re-nailed, re-glued and fitted with new runners and cross members under the drawer bases for added strength (The drawer bars have been refitted also). 
All sit straight and flush and function seamlessly. The original drawer guides and rails are in very good order and have also been re-nailed and re-glued where required. All original back-boarding.
