Another lovely example from the Victorian period. The external Cedar surfaces (Plank top, sides and drawer fronts) are in great cosmetic condition, free from cracks and significant dents. The seven drawers have been re-nailed, re-glued and fitted with new cross members underneath for added strength (The drawer bases have been removed and refitted). New hardwood runners to all drawers except the top middle small drawer (not required as negligible wear). All sit straight and flush and function seamlessly. The original drawer guides and rails are in good order with minimal wear (some newly replaced). New hardwood drawer rail overlays installed to the middle, large drawer cavity (required) and the original rails have been reglued, and re-screwed where nneeded. All original back-boarding.
