Thoroughly overhauled and hand finished with a traditional French polish, this gorgeous dresser features.
Solid Cedar construction.
Traditional shellac and beeswax finish.
Four structurally perfect, as new functioning hand dovetailed drawers
Clean internal drawer surfaces.
Original turned Cedar handles, complete with their original cedar screws.
All original brass drawer locks and keyhole inserts.
Original steel base caps to legs (Anti scratch pads installed over base caps)
New hardwood drawer runners to all drawers.
New replacement drawer stops.
Solid and sturdy fabrication.
Overall a fine example in great structural condition. The four drawers have been re-nailed, fitted with new hardwood runners and side supports. All drawer bases have been removed and refitted to remove rattles. The original panels to prevent items and dust from falling between the drawers are all intact and complete. The four drawers sit straight and flush and function perfectly. The original drawer guides and rails are in excellent order with minimal wear. All original back-boarding in great condition.
