A9113 Restored Four Drawer Victorian Chest with Tempered Glass Top. Circa 1880
Comprehensively overhauled and fitted with all new drawer runners, this gorgeous little dresser boasts. 
Authentic hand French polish and beeswax finish.
Solid Australian Red Cedar construction.
New runners installed to all drawers.

Another lovely set of drawers from the late 1800s. All drawers have been rebuilt, reglued and re-nailed. Additional timber cross members have been installed to the underside of the drawer bases for added strength (where required). All four sit straight and flush and open and close like new.  The solid Cedar top, sides and drawer fronts show minimal wear cosmetic and tear for their age. The internal drawer rails and guide have been reglued and re-nailed where needed. The hairline cracks to the side panels have been re-joined with high strength bonding compound, filled and colour matched prior to polishing. They have been reinforced from behind using crossmembers (glued and screwed laterally). The crack to the Cedar plank top has been repaired the same way with cedar crossmembers to its underside. All original backboards in great order.
