A9107 Restored Victorian Mahogany Seven Drawer Chest. Circa 1890. Completely overhauled and fitted with all new hardwood drawer runners, this pristine 19th Century example boasts.
Solid Mahogany construction.
High gloss hand French polish and beeswax finish.
Seven structurally flawless, as new functioning hand-dovetailed drawers.

Striking woodgrain figuring.
Another rare and well made chest from the late 1800s. All seven drawers are structurally excellent with no pre-existing repairs, sit straight and flush and function seamlessly on their new runners. They have been re-glued and re-nailed where needed and their bases removed and refitted to address shrinkage/gaps/rattles. A new base and cross members have been installed to the very bottom drawer (in keeping with original. timbers sourced from the same era). The internal drawer rails and guides are in very good condition with minimal wear and have been re-glued and re-nailed where required. The external surfaces (plank top, sides and drawer fronts) have some minor distressed elements consistent with age. All original tongue and groove backboards in very good order. All handle are original except for the three large bottom drawers (reproduction turned Mahogany handles).
