Beautifully restored, complete with all new hardwood drawer runners and a traditional hand polished finish, this solidly built old gem boasts.

Large size with extra storage space
Another fine example, thoroughly overhauled and all set for the next generation. The five drawers are structurally excellent with no pre-existing repairs, sit and straight and flush and function as new. They have been re-nailed and had their original bases refitted to eliminate rattles. The original bases are extra thick (1cm) and free from cracks. The original drawer guides and rails are in excellent order with no signs of wear and have been renailed and re-glued. The external Mahogany surfaces have a lovely patina and some distressed features. The hairline crack to the left side panel has been re-joined with high strength compound, reinforced from behind, filled and colour matched prior to French polishing. The remaining external surfaces (top plank, right side and drawer fronts) are crack free. The Mahogany plank top is in pristine condition (stripped and refinished) and is free from dents and stains. All the handles are original except for the two tophat drawer handles (Replica handles customised in-house to match the original) The original backboards are in perfect order also. This is a relatively heavy piece and will require two people to take it away.
