A9098-- Impressive Restored Cedar Seven Drawer Victorian Dresser. Circa 1890. Completely rebuilt and restored inside and out, this immaculate antique piece features. 
Solid Cedar construction.
High gloss traditional hand French polish finish.
Seven structurally excellent, as new functioning hand dovetailed drawers.

Original turned Cedar handles complete with original Cedar screws (no cracks, chips or damage)
All antique brass til locks and brass escutcheon (keyhole inserts). 
New hardwood drawer runners.

Another one in one thousand piece in exceptional condition. All drawers are in beautiful condition with no pre-existing repairs, sit straight and flush and function perfectly. New hardwood drawer runners to all drawers except the left top hat drawer and two small top drawers (not required - no significant wear to original). The drawer bases have been refitted to close gaps and remove rattles. Worn areas of the internal drawer rails have been restored, filled and reglued.  The drawer guides are in excellent condition, with most replaced with new Cedar timbers (all three large bottom drawers and both top hat drawers). The external Cedar surfaces are in lovely condition with no significant dents (a few minor dents). The hairline crack to the top Cedar plank has been re-joined with high strength compound and reinforced from underneath (i.e. timber panel glued and screwed to the underside, across the length of the crack). The cracks on either side of the chest (due to natural shrinkage of the Cedar side panels) have been repaired with high strength compound before being filled, colour matched and French polished. The original tongue and groove backboards are in flawless condition.
