A9081 - Restored Edwardian Cedar Four Drawer Chest. Circa 1900. Restored and complete with all new hardwood drawer runners and ornate cast brass hardware, this compact and sturdy dresser features.
Solid Australian Cedar construction.
Traditional hand done, shellac French polish
Four structurally excellent, seamlessly functioning hand-dovetailed Cedar drawers.
Decorative cast brass handles
Lovely woodgrain figuring.
All original brass locks and escutcheon inserts.
All new hardwood drawer runners (all drawwers).
Replacement drawer guides (Where required).
New drawer stops.
Original turned Cedar legs with anti-scratch pads.

Another compact sized chest of drawers from the early 1900s. All drawers have had the bases refitted, and the frames re-glued and renailed where necessary. New hardwood runners installed to all drawers. The original drawer rails have been reglued and renialed. All four drawers sit straight and flush and open and close like new. The external Cedar surfaces are in excellent condition with no stains or significant dents. Original backboarding intact.
