Completely restored from the ground up, this substantial Victorian Mahogany chest combines authentic period character with excellent structural integrity, generous storage and dependable everyday functionality.

Restoration and condition: All five drawers have been carefully rebuilt, with their original bases removed, refitted and re-nailed to close shrinkage-related gaps. They are structurally excellent, with tight original dovetail joints and no pre-existing repairs. The drawers sit straight and flush and operate smoothly on their new runners.
The external Mahogany top and sides are in very good condition, with no cracks or significant imperfections. The original back-boards remain in good order. This is a substantial, heavy chest and will require two strong people for collection, even with the drawers removed.
