A9105 Restored Victorian Cedar Chest of Seven Drawers. Circa 1890. Comprehensively overhauled, fitted with new drawer runners and retaining all of its original character and charm, this lovely set features. 
Solid Australian Cedar construction.
Traditional French polish finish.
Seven structurally excellent, as new functioning hand-dovetailed drawers.

Original brass til locks and escutcheon/keyholes (no key included).
New Drawer runners and internal drawer rails.
All new replacement drawer stops.
New drawer guides (where required). 
Turned Cedar legs fitted with new anti-scratch pads.

Lovely distressed elements. 
Overall, a very solid example from the late 1800s. All seven drawers have been rebuilt (renailed and reglued where required), straightened and had their bases refitted to close all gaps and remove rattles. New timber crossmembers install to the underside of the original cedar drawer bases, where required, to provide added strength. 
New runners install to all drawers, except one of the small top drawers (not required - no significant wear).  All sit straight and flush and function seamlessly (like new). New internal drawer rails and framing installed  to two of the large/long drawers and the top right small drawers. The remaining drawer rails are in excellent condition with no significant wear and have been re-glued and re-nailed where required. All original Cedar backboards in place.
