A9007 Exquisite Victorian Cedar Cotton Reel Chest. Fully Restored. Circa 1880. Completely rebuilt and restored to the highest standard, this absolutlely flawless example features
Traditional hand French polish finished with beeswax. 
Solid Australian Cedar construction.
Seven as new functioning hand dovetailed drawers
Decorative side half cotton reel pilars.
All new drawer runners, internal drawer rails and guides. 
Lovely woodgrain figuring.
New turned cedar handles (with the hardware recessed and hidden on the inside face of the drawers).
New Turned Cedar legs and base plates.
New drawer stops.
Painstakingly returned to its former glory. This is a truely magnificent example ready for a lifeltime of use. All drawers are structurally excellent (rebuilt and reglued), spotlessly clean inside and function perfectly. No cracks, splits or major dents to the external cedar surfaces. Amongst the finest examples to come out of our workshop.
