Solid Australian Mahogany construction.
Traditional shellac, hand French polish. 
New hardwood drawer runners installed.
Side by side, secret top drawers with the original keyless locking system.
Seven as new functioning, hand-dovetailed Mahogany drawers (Lockable with original key included).

A very uncommon, finely crafted piece from the early 1900s, featuring unique secret top drawers with a keyless locking system (Mahogany tongue to underside of drawer engages when the drawer is closed). All new hardwood drawer runners installed to provide the functionality of new. Fully lockable, the original drawers are structurally perfect, very solid and have no signs of weakening in the frames (no pre-existing repairs). All sit flush and function seamlessly. The external Mahogany surfaces are in great condition also, showing very minimal cosmetic wear and tear.
