A8080 – Restored Four Drawer Cedar Chest - Victorian Era. Circa 1880. Finished with a traditional hand French polish, this very functional set of drawers boasts.

Solid Cedar construction
Four very smooth functioning, hand dovetailed Cedar drawers
Shellac finish.
Original turned Cedar handles complete with wooden screws.
All original brass drawer locks and escutcheon/keyholes
New Cedar drawer runners to all drawers.
Turned Cedar legs.
New drawer stops.

Overall very good condition with no signicant dents to the top, sides and front. All four drawers are structurally sound, (very solid with no movement in the frames) sit straight and flush, and open and close nice and smoothly. The hairline crack to the top left drawer has been professionally repaired (glued and nailed). The original backboards are complete and in good order also. Original paper linning to all drawers (Some of the paper has peeled away in areas). All drawers are clean inside.
