A8072 – Late Victorian Era Cedar Five Drawer Tallboy. Impeccably restored from the ground up, this fine example boasts.
Solid Australian Cedar Construction.

Original turned Cedar handles.
All drawer locks and brass keyhole escutcheon.
New drawer runners to all five drawers.

Another stunning and highly functional set dating around 1900. The solid Cedar plank top, sides and drawer fronts are free from stains, cracks, and major dents. All drawers are very clean inside and structurally perfect (very solid with no signs of movement in the frames). All sit perfectly flush and open and close faultlessly. The original backboards have been sealed to prevent dust getting through the cracks, then tidied up with two coats of paint (last image). The original cedar handles have been well secured with screws and custom fabricated, brushed aluminium backing plates (disks). Slightly larger size with a generous level of storage room.
