A8063 – Restored Victorian Cedar Chest of Five Drawers. Circa 1900. Finished with a traditional French polish, this generous sized unit boasts.

Solid Australian Cedar and Cedar veneer construction.
Traditional shellac, hand polish finish.
Five as new functioning, hand-dovetailed drawers
Original screw in type oversized Cedar drawer pulls.
All drawer locks and original brass keyhole inserts in place (no key included).
New hardwood drawer runners (where required).
Decorative inlaid top.

Structurally excellent and suitable for everyday use. The internal drawer rails are in very good order and have been straightened, reglued, renailed and reinforced with new blocks for added strength. Replacement drawer guiides. Rebuilt drawers, fitted with new hardwood drawer runners (where needed). All drawers, sit straight and flush within the drawer cavities, are spotlessly clean inside (lined bases to most drawers) and function perfectly. The external Cedar surfaces are in lovely condition, free from cracks and major dents. Complete and original backboards.
