A8061 – Large Restored Five Drawer Cedar Chest. Circa 1870. Beautifully returned to its former glory, this magnificent old set of drawers features.
Solid Cedar and construction.
Traditional shellac, hand French polish.
Five as new functioning, hand-dovetailed, solid Cedar drawers
Original Cedar handles.
Original drawer locks and oversized brass keyhole inserts (No key included).
New hardwood drawer runners to all drawers.
New cedar drawer rails installed where required.
Lovely natural patina and distressed elements.
Generous storage capacity.

Structurally excellent and suitable for everyday use. All the drawers have been re-aligned, glued, and nailed where required and are very solid/sturdy. All five sit straight and flush within the drawer cavities, are very clean inside and function seamlessly. Original backboards all in great shape also. The crack to the top panle has been professionally repaired.
