A8044 – Restored Edwardian Kauri Pine Five Drawer Chest. Circa 1910. Finished with a shellac French polish, this compact sized set of drawers features; 
Solid Kauri Pine construction.     .
Traditional hand polished finish. 
Five smooth functioning, hand-dovetailed drawers
Original turned handles with wooden screws. 
Brass drawer locks and keyhole inserts.
Removable fabric lined compartmentalised storage.
New hardwood drawer stops.   
New hardwood drawer runners (where required). 
A highly functional and great storage solution for the cost-conscience consumer. All five drawers are structurally sound (reglued and nailed where necessary), sit straight, and open and close smoothly on the original drawer runners (new hardwood drawer runners installed to two of the lower drawers). Very practical, fabric lined compartmentalised storage to the bottom drawer. Original drawer handles to the large drawers and non-original handles to top drawers. Original tongue and groove backboards complete and in good condition also.
