A8043 – Restored Victorian Cedar Seven Drawer Tallboy. Circa 1890. Thoroughly returned to its former glory and finished with a traditional hand French polish, this immaculate example boasts. 
Solid Tasmanian Cedar construction.     .
Traditional high gloss shellac finish. 
Seven as new functioning, hand-dovetailed drawers
Original turned Cedar handles, complete with wooden screws. 
Original brass drawer locks and keyholes
Solid plinth base supported on original bun feet.

This stunning piece from the late 1800s sits with some of the finest examples we have had. The original drawers are in remarkable condition, exceptionally solid with no pre-existing repairs or damage, and the original drawer runners and internal rails and guides show hardly any signs of wear. All drawers sit straight and flush and open and close perfectly. The original Cedar top, sides and drawer fronts are in lovely condition, free from cracks/splits and major dents. All original drawer stops and backboards complete and in flawless condition also.
