  • Solid Red Cedar construction
  • Five smooth functioning, hand-dovetailed drawers
  • Original Cedar handles.
  • Traditional high-gloss shellac finish.
  • Original brass escutcheon and internal drawer locks.
  • Turned Cedar legs.
  • All new hardwood drawer runners.

Another gorgeous set of drawers from the late 1800s. Structurally very sound and highly functional with all new hardwood runners. The solid Cedar plank top and sides have some lovely distressed elements and are free from cracks, splits and dents (Note: there is a 1mm gap down each side of the chest. This is a space between each Cedar panel for ventilation to the chest). All drawers have been re-nailed and glued where required, open and close like new and sit straight and flush within the drawer cavities. The original tongue and groove backboards are in flawless condition also (last image).
