A80001 - Victorian Cedar Five Drawer Chest with Mother of Pearl Inlay. Circa 1880. Thoroughly restored and French polished this lovely old chest boasts;
Traditional high gloss French polish finish
Australian Cedar construction (Kauri internal drawer carcases).
Five very smooth functioning hand- dovetail drawers.
Light Cedar tone.
All new hardwood (Tasmanian Oak) drawer runners. 
Turned Cedar legs 
Original turned Cedar handles centred with mother of pearl. 
Original brass key hole covers and drawer locks. 
Lovely distressed features and patina. 
Another lovely example from the late 1800s structurally excellent and packed with loads of character. All five drawers have been renailed and glued where necessary and fitted with new hardwood runners. They sit straight and flush, are nice and clean inside and function seamlessly (quiet and smooth). All handles are secured with the original wooden screws and the original back boards are in excellent order also. Slightly larger size with a generous storage capacity.
