8008 - Victorian Cedar Seven Drawer Chest with Carved Side Corbels.  Circa 1870. Beautifully restored and French polished, this magnificent piece boasts;
Solid Cedar construction. 
Traditional polished shellac finish.
Intricately carved full length side corbels.  
Seven smooth functioning, hand-dovetailed drawers.
Decorate central top-hat drawer. 
New hardwood (oak) drawer runners installed. 
Original Cedar draw pulls.
All original and fully functioning drawer locks (original key included). 
Original brass keyhole inserts.
Turned legs. 
New drawer stops and internal drawer guides. 

Another fine set from the 1800s. The solid Cedar plank top and side panels are in terrific condition (quite often they have a large split or crack right through the middle due to shrinkage). All drawers are spotlessly clean inside, structurally excellent with no pre-existing repairs, sit straight and flush and open and close nicely. Original backboards in flawless order also.
